Originally sold as a health tonic, amari are now drank on there own and in cocktails all over the world. Our Amaro is sweetened with turbinado sugar to give the spirit an even richer finish. Incorporate it into a cocktail or after your next meal for a beautifully balanced digestif.
Aroma - Orange Zest, Sassafras, Herbal
Taste - Root Beer, Mint, Balanced, Bittersweet
Aging - Aged on Sassafras for 1 month
Alcohol - 64 proof, 32% ABV, 750ml
Pay Me Amaro
1 oz. Gin
3/4 oz. Amaro
3/4 oz. Cinnamon Syrup
3/4 Lemon Juice
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice until well chilled (about 30 seconds), strain into a collins glass filled with ice, top with ginger beer and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
2 oz. Rye Whiskey
3/4 oz. Lockhouse Amaro
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Put all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir until chilled (about 20 seconds), strain into a coup or rocks glass garnish with cherry or lemon twist.
